Vacation Rental Description

This ultra nice GULF FRONT one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath unit is located in The Summit on the 10th floor near the center of the building, just above the pools. The view of the gulf is stunning. This unit is newly remodeled and beautifully decorated. It is completely blue and I nicknamed it "The Blue Lagoon." I was thinking maybe we could get shirts made with that being the theme. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and serving meals. The owner is also letting us use her blender so we don't have to bring one. A microwave oven, automatic coffee-maker and blender serve your convenience. The refrigerator has an automatic icemaker. A private washer\dryer is ready for your clothes. There are two 27" color television sets with cable, a VCR/DVD player, and a stereo. With a king-size bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and two built-in twin bunk beds, this unit will sleep up to six people. Linens and towels are all included. Turn the key and start your vacation! This untra nice unit at "The Summit" is located on some of the most beautiful beaches on the gulf coast. A great place to make your Spring Break vacation a memorable one! Vacation Rental Amenities The Summit is loaded with amenities that include two large swimming pools, two kiddy pools, tennis courts, hot tubs, whirlpools, saunas and kids play ground. Separate exercise rooms are available for the ladies and gentlemen, and there is a game room for the younger folks. There is 24-hour security and internet access.

Attractions:

Famous nearby attractions include the Spinnaker Beach Club, Club Lavela, Pineapple Willy’s, Bob Zales Fishing Charters, Signal Hill Golf Course and much more. Feel free to enjoy. Activities and Attractions Tennis Courts, Shuffle Board, Jet skiing, Para-sailing, Boat rides, volleyball, Golfing, Fishing, Zoo, and much more. Many other attractions located within walking distance. Vacation Rental Rates The Beach Front Condos are next door to the Club Lavela and Spinnaker!

Spinnaker's (if you look at some of the pics,you can see our condo in the background. It is next door to our condo) This is a restaurant during the day and club at night. It seems to be pretty cheap too.

Jubilee Deep Sea Fishing I think this might be a lot of fun. They have different tours: 5 hour tours are $45 per person, 6 hour tours are $50 per person, and 8 hour tours are $55 per person.

Kayakk Rental This would be a lot of fun too. I have heard a lot about Shell Island. The tide comes up at night and goes back down during the day. This island is suppose to have plenty of unique shells to pick up. Plus its $35 a day!

Snorkel Package This looks like a cheap way to have fun. The cost is only $18.95 for the package. I have never been but I wouldn't mind trying it out.

Schooners This restaurant looks like a lot of fun. The price for dinner seemed a little too expensive for me but the lunch menu looked reasonable.

Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise Arggggg! This seems sort of interesting. It's a tour on a "pirate ship." Hell I say we dress as pirates and get drunk before we get on it. That would be one hell of a time. OHHHHHH A Pirates life for me!

Club La Vela. Of course, we are right across the street from Club La Vela, one of the biggest clubs in the US. There is one down fall.. it cost around $20 to get into. So maybe we could go one night.. maybe our last night. Oh and yes they will be open for Spring Break 2006. They are closed right now for renovations but they will be open when we get there.

Price for the entire trip:
We are going to be staying for one full week. The price is going to be $175+$50 deposit to make sure that nothing is broken at the end of the trip. The $50 will be given back to you a week after the trip. So techniquely, it is only $175 for a week of fun! This $175 will include a $65 cleaning fee and 10.5% tax. From the $175, there will be $25 of it going towards food. This year I will not pay for alcohol, but instead food in the condo will be covered. Restuarants around Panama City are extremely expensive! Last year we cooked at the condo and it saved us a lot of money plus it was a lot of fun.

As far as extra spending money, you may want to consider the following:

Depending on the number of people per car, gas will be about $20 per person.
Last year we bought a $40 Panamaniac Card--These ultimate party card will give you free parties at Panama’s hottest bars. You receive FREE T-shirt(s), FREE souvenir mug, over 30 hours of unlimited free beer, free cover charges, free drink nights, discounts, and much more. This card is valid for one full week.
We spent one day going snorkeling and it was a lot of fun. It was about $50 per person. Just remember to bring some money for attractions if you want to go.
On the last night, we ate at a nice restaurant in a pirate ship and it was a really nice way to end our trip. I think we should do it again. Depending on what you get, meals range from $15-$25. Click here for website where we went last year.

My overall opinion about Spring Break in Panama City is that it is really laid back. Since LSU's Spring Break is so late, the beach is not packed and it is pretty relaxing. Last year the trip was not draining like most vacations. It was exactly what I wanted: A place to get away and unwind.

Payments and Dues:

Feb 1--A holding deposit of $100 is due. This will ensure that you will have a spot. It is
nonrefundable.

March 1--The other $125 will be due and you are set for the week!

Remember the total $225 includes the $50 deposit that you will get back and $25 for food.

Late Registration:
If you cannot decide if you want to go by Feb. 1, you have until April 1 to email me. However, There will be additional charges for being late just as I will be charged for late reservation of $100. This will make the total price $325 and you will be set for the trip. Even $325 does not compare to what you would be paying to stay a whole week in Panama City.

April 1--Must pay in full of $325. (This year the full payment MUST be in my hands by April 1st)

Contract:
This year we are going to be signing a "No Drama Contract." I have done this in the past and it seems to work really well. Since this maybe my last spring break, I want to have the best time and I want to ensure that we all have the best time. For example, majority of the contract will focus on the following:

No whining;
No fighting;
No teaming up;
No bitching;
No attitude;
No making other people cry

If you posess the above qualities, I do not want you to come. If the contract is broken multiple times, there will be a lose of your $50 deposit.
